Participating Ger Building Program and watching Horse Cultural Show (horseman will show how to catch untrained horses and train them), riding horses and cooking lessons are just a small part of the whole experience.

In the morning, we will pick you up from your accommodation and start our tour directly driving to Binder Village via Chinggis Khaan Monument Complex. This statue, showing Chinggis Khaan (1162-1227) with a golden whip in his right hand gazing into the distance, has been erected at the Tsonjin Boldog site connected to many historic events in the territory of Erdene village in Tov aimag, 54 km from Ulaanbaatar. The haughty and yet honorable statue is surrounded by 36 columns representing 36 Mongolian Khaans. The entire edifice is covered in 250 tons of steel. After lunch, continue driving to Binder village – located at Khentii province, Eastern Mongolia. Place is not far from Chinggis Khaan’s birthplace – Deluun Boldog and it is one of the most beautiful areas in Mongolia as well as famous place for fishing. Arrive at the camp late afternoon, dinner and free time. Stay overnight in Ger camp.
After breakfast drive to nomadic family for 30 kms. Visit the nomad family, meet the family members, have a lunch with them and basic introduction. After lunch, you will have Ger building program with family members. Before taking part of this extraordinary job you will have a brief instruction by your guide about main structure of the Ger, and job tasks of everybody who involving in it. The activity will prove us why nomad people prefer the Ger as the best accommodation for their life since thousands of years ago from generation to generation. In the evening, learn how to cook Mongolian authentic simple dishes with help of hostess. Stay overnight in separate Ger or in tent.
Early morning before breakfast, you will learn how to milk cows, sheep and mares. This task usually involves both man and women of the family. After breakfast, you can help the kids to herd cows and sheep to pasture. The rest of the day hostess of the family will show and teach you how to produce tasty and nutritious dairy products of “aaruul” and “byaslag”, a Mongolian cheese and blend traditional vodka called “Shimiin arkhi”. Turning Milk into Mongolian vodka – Shimiin arkhi is not produced commercially, but is sometimes offered to guests who visit a nomadic family in their Ger. Evening we will have a famous Mongolian barbecue Khorkhog. This is Mongolian traditional respected dish, made by cooking pieces of meat inside a container which also contains hot stones and water, and is often also heated from the outside. Stay overnight in separate Ger or in tent.
Today we will watch how Mongolian skillful cowboys catch horses by “uurga” – traditional wooden lasso and training an untamed horse that has never been ridden before. After lunch, you will have a half day horse riding with support of family man through the beautiful landscape and river. Coming back to the family, have dinner and free time. Stay overnight in separate Ger or in tent.
Today we will say goodbye to our nomadic family members and drive to Onon - Barkh Rivers. These two days devoted to fishing and peaceful environment offers a perfect opportunity to escape the tension of the city and just relax and unwind. Onon is one of the biggest rivers abundant with fishes. It begins from Khan Khentii Mountain range and flows 800 km on Mongolian territories and flows into Shilka river, one of biggest rivers in Eurasia, also its basin are considered to be the place of origin of all Mongols and are closely connected with the name of Chinggis Khaan and the “Secret History of the Mongols”. Stay overnights in tents.
In the morning, continue the tour to Deluun boldog, legendary birthplace of Chinggis Khaan. For his 800th birthday, a statue of Ghinggis Khaan was erected in 1962 at Deluun Boldog; a place believed to be the great khaan's birthplace, close to what is today Dadal soum, an attractive wooded area in North-West Khentii region. The area contains trails and lakes for visitors as well as monuments where you can learn why this fierce warrior and great leader is still revered today. Dadal Sum once housed one of three great lamaist temples consecrated to Chingghis Khaan, but which was razed in the 1930s. Now there are stone monuments to him erected in the surrounding beauty of the Mongolian countryside. Stay overnight in Ger camp.

A visit to the Gun-Galuut Nature Reserve is a treat for wildlife enthusiasts and for anyone who appreciates the truly extraordinary landscapes Mongolia offers up. Mountains, rivers, lakes, and wetlands provide a unique and varied habitat for some of the world’s most rare and endangered species. The Argali or Wild Mountain sheep, with its characteristic curly horns, has a protected home here, as does the Siberian White Crane which summers on the reserve’s Ayaga Lake. There is also the opportunity to enjoy a range of optional activities in this beautiful setting, including horse and camel riding, fishing, kayaking, cycling and archery. Stay overnight in Ger camp.
Today, we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Arrive at Ulaanbaatar, and you will be transferred to your accommodation. End of tour.
